Itinerary:
Wednesday (Day 1):
Fly into Las Vegas. Leave on shuttle to Page AZ, by 1pm.
Stop at Whole Foods along the way to pick up river provisions.
Stay in Air BnB.
Dinner in town.
Thursday (Day 2):
Morning shuttle to Lee’s Ferry for the backhaul up to Glen Canyon Dam where we start the paddle. We will be paddling and camping around the famous Horseshoe Bend.
Paddle / Float (we have a friendly current helping us). We will stop for cliff jumping, riverside hikes, bighorn sheep, petroglyphs and more. Sleep at campsite on the river. (you will be responsible for bringing camping gear and we will have zoom calls before to support/recommend rentals etc.)
Friday (Day 3)
Wake up on the water, finish our paddle and more riverside exploration.
Short hike to see horseshoe bend from above.
Shuttle to Kanab, Utah
Staying in Wild West Wagons!
Saturday (Day 4)
Morning: Exploration of Buckskin Gulch, one of the longest slot canyons in the world!
Afternoon: Coral Pink Sand Dunes, options for sleeding, or surfing down!
Shuttle to Las Vegas for Dinner.
Stay in Hotel
Sunday (Day 5)
Final breakfast together
Travel back home

We will be sleeping in a mixture of large air bnbs, 1 night camping on the river, unique wagon air bnb, Las Vegas hotel.

We will be able to accommodate dietary concerns, at a mixture of restaurants and home cooking.

We are unable to offer refunds.

Great! You won’t be able to find a better site for your first experience. We can arrange camping essentials for you if you do not have them (60+ Liter Dry bag, sleeping bag, tent). There are no scary animals along the river, you’re surrounded by 1000 ft red canyon walls.

Short answer, YES!
We are splitting up the distance into two days.
We will have a 4 MPH average current from the dam behind us
You're able to sit, kneel and stand.
We are not going for speed.

No cell signal on the river. However, we will have a satellite phone for emergencies.

Flight in and out of Las Vegas.
Food for the river. (we will stop at Whole Foods along the way to pick up provisions) (lunch, dinner, breakfast)
Camping Equipment (Option to rent (tent, sleeping bag, dry bag) $150 extra
Gratuity (not required but appreciated)

Dry bag around 60 liters large no bigger than 90.
Sleeping Bag (it gets cool at night (40’s)
Tent (make sure it fits into your dry bag) / we often “cowboy camp” without a tent under the stars.
(option to rent camping equipment (dry bag, tent, sleeping bag) and have it waiting for you in Las Vegas ($150 extra)
Water shoe / adventure sandal.
